Deborah Campbell Atelier is a contemporary British made ethical womenswear label. The collection has a timeless, versatile quality that draws on the Great British heritage of high-quality fashion manufacturing, with an easy wear aesthetic that exudes effortless chic. Each style is produced in limited quantities, with no more than 100 of each design, with the exception of the core T’s and Guernsey sweaters. Campbell encourages customers to buy better, not more.

Fabrics are sourced from a variety of sustainable partners via the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Source Network, and focus on British made textiles. Campbell upcycles wool and leather, as well as uses hand woven natural fibers such as silk, Tencel and Modal, sourcing fabrications that have low environmental impact through limited water utilization or natural dying processes. Wovens are digitally printed to save water, and T-shirts are one color screen printed in the UK on GOTS certified organic cotton. All prints are designed in house, taking inspiration from modern art and nature.

With a background in manufacturing and design, Deborah Campbell worked for a number of major British retailers, such as Miss Selfridge and Top Shop. Becoming increasingly concerned with over consumerism and cheap fashion, she disengaged, beginning her journey to challenge the status quo.
