Study
Tara St James, founder of Study, and formerly the Creative Director for Covet, produces a small collection of sustainable clothing within a collective, that also produces jewelry, graphic design, photography, music, video and fine art, all with a sustainable ethos. Using recycled and organic materials wherever possible, St. James also strives to minimize the carbon footprint. The Square Project, the first collection through the collective, launched at New York’s the Green Shows, is a study in shape in relation to the human form, starting with the square. The collection comprises of only nine pieces, each one made from a different number of squares.
