Having perfected the art of wearing “Ankara” a local West African fabric, Lisa Folawiyo built a collection of womenswear and accessories around the textile. Incorporating texture and embellishment, Folawiyo transforms the fabric to create a luxury womenswear brand. The collection incorporates contemporary design with culturally established tradition and custom prints. With a unique aesthetic, the brands signature body conscious, and tailored silhouettes are offset by playful, conceptual design, with more than a nod to traditional African styling.

Working with expert beading craftsmen, designs are hand embellished, taking an average of 240 hours a piece to produce. Each design boasts a uniquely hand crafted history from inception to construction that reflects the brands design integrity.
