Samant Chauhan

An alumni of NIFT, New Delhi, Samant Chauhan won three awards for his graduate collection, allowing him to show his men’s wear collection during Singapore fashion week.  Working predominately with silk, Chauhan uses silk as a metaphor, and an indirect means of expressing his roots.  He reinterprets the traditional Bhaglapur silks into contemporary designs that bridge the gap between East and West.
