Stella Jean
Stella Jean is a young Italian Haitian designer, born and working in Rome. Her refined collection of African waxed cotton prints evokes a retro fifties chic, men’s shirt fabric and expressed through an impeccable European cut. There is a Prada-esque level of sophisticated styling, combined with a wonderfully romantic retrospective of Africa in the 40’s and 50’s, reminiscent of the work of Mali photographer, Seydou Keita.
