Alexandra Faro

Alexandra Faro grew up in Budapest, Hungary, moving to London after a several years of traveling though Europe and the Far East.  She studied design at London College of Fashion and Fine Arts and Painting at Kensington and Chelsea College.  Gaining experience through working for underwear label Saint Tropez, as well as participating in projects like Judy Blane’s cruise collection for LV and Swarovski Runway Rocks.  Her collections are inspired by paintings and installations of contemporary female artists, such as Marelene Dumas or Louise Bourgeois.  Her design concepts are also based on women’s power struggle in post-modern society and their constant search for identity.
