Enamore

Jenny Ambrose grew up watching her mother create her own clothes and sew dresses for her and her sister. Taking some basic sewing classes at school, she found sewing frustrating, and left it behind along with horse back riding and the piano in her teenage years.  Coming back to it in her early twenties when she felt the need to find some direction, she took evening classes to improve her skills, and later some college courses.  Realizing it was unlikely that she would be hired in the industry with her limited schooling and non-existent experience, she decided to go it alone instead, making and selling items made from recycled vintage fabrics at a flea market in Brighton.   Approved by the Prince’s Trust and Frederick’s Foundation, she started Enamore, working with ecologically friendly and reclaimed fabrics. Through a collaboration, Enamore started designing lingerie, which has now developed into the mainstay of the business.
