Women’s clothing brand Tabii Just, produces a chic clothing line designed to encourage conscious consumption. With an aesthetic that combines an easy-going Trinidadian vibe with a Brooklyn edge, the collection features easy to wear, effortless clothing. Bright colorful prints and patterns combine graphic, digital and organic imagery seamlessly. Easy T shaped dresses and tops disguise unique draping and tucking, designed to eliminate waste. Tabii Just incorporates zero fabric waste into the designing of their clothing. With 15% of fabric for apparel production often discarded, Tabii Just create patterns from scratch that result in minimal textiles waste, and they utilize what left overs there are, to produce other small items such as pocket squares. The collection is designed and manufactured in New York, and Tabii Just take great pride in supporting local businesses and employing local labor, not simply ensuring the supply chain is sweatshop free. Personal oversight of quality control is of course much easier, when your factory is only a train ride away, one of the benefits of producing locally.
