Abury combine tradition with old world crafts to create a collection of bags, purses, totes, backpacks and clutches, that foster intercultural exchange and preserves global crafts. Bringing together new designers with traditional artisans from remote cultures, Abury facilitates the exchange of knowledge between the old world and the cutting edge. Allowing a new context to emerge, by leasing crafts new life and lending design an artisanal component, a new luxury style is born. Each designer is embedded in a culture of craft for three months where they learn to share ideas, and to create a collection together, uniting two worlds to create sustainable solutions.
