Agatha Ruiz de la Prada

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada started her fashion career in 1980 with a distinct and individualistic sense of style, which she has maintained ever since, designing her own global language of fashion, an authentic revolution against the establishment. Ruiz de la Prada’s designs reflect love, humor and optimism through her extraordinary use of color and shape. Her product lines run the gamut of design and include textiles, furniture, crockery and children’s products. Ruiz de la Prada´s concept is that life should embrace a world full of color and vitality.  Not known specifically as an eco designer, Prada has never the less undertaken multiple initiatives, including supporting Greenpeace through the sale of specially designed items through YOOX.com. She also produces an organic cotton jean as part of her collection.
