Mika Machida

After studying art for a year in the UK, Mika Machida moved to New York to study Graphic Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Machida’s silk screen prints are inspired by her life experiences. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally, and her clothing line ‘MIKA’ began as an extension of her screen-printing from paper and canvas to fabric and garments. Working with materials that do not harm the soil, water, and nature, Machida produces a line of clothing screen printed apparel made from organic materials.
