Mimi New York creates one-of-a-kind, hand made dresses and gowns from recovered antique textiles and lace. Each one meticulously constructed from shredded, torn and damaged vintage lace, patiently and artistically paired and draped directly on the mannequin. Working with natural hand made textiles, Mimi New York painstakingly hand dyes scraps with organic dyes, to achieve subtle tonalities and colorations.
