Pima Doll

Entirely made by hand in Peru, Pima Doll is a women’s casual wear collection produced from one hundred percent pure Pima cotton. Peruvian Pima cotton is known as some of the best cotton in the world. Grown in the coastal region without chemicals, it is harvested by hand, resulting in a cotton that does not pill, and is fifty percent stronger than conventional domestic GMO cotton, and is naturally hypo-allergenic.

The collection focuses on comfortable wearable clothing with a touch of sass. Playful, youthful with a sporty edge, the collection is body conscious without being overtly sexy. Featuring perforated cotton jersey across a range of styles, the brand also produce a small limited edition range of hand knits from the reused, shredded pima cotton, as a means of utilizing all their own waste.

Designed in New York, the collection is developed in Peru with input from the artisans, and made with fair trade principles. The entire Pima Doll collection crew is featured on the website, from the knitters to the pattern makers and sample sewers. The purchase of a Pima Doll hand knit design, supports traditional village craft and a local economy and community of knitters.
