Edson Raup fashions amazing bags from recycled men’s suits, under the label Suitcase. Utilizing sleeves, lapels and pockets, he produces a range of unique bags, each one carrying the character and individuality of a vintage men’s suit. Learning his skills from his father, a tailor, Raup carefully reverses the process of suit construction, to deconstruct them into bags. With measuring tapes and damaged seat belts as straps, Raup now also produces bags from discarded buttons and clothing labels.
