SpaceBetween3

Space Between is a new social enterprise for fashion, which offering a thoughtful new way to design, make and use locally-produced fashion. Created to reframe consumerism, and replace with a new form of green fashion entrepreneurialism as a way of achieving and sustaining environmental and social goals. Space Between investigates and challenges the system of fashion through innovation, ethics, transparency, authenticity, meaningful engagement, new ecologies of work, good practices and design-led activism.

SpaceBetween

As a new green business model for fashion design, Space Between acts as a platform for social innovation and enterprise. Developed by Massey University’s School of Design in New Zealand, the program seeks to address sustainability issues such as resource depletion, consumption and production, by connecting university research with external partners. Acting as a bridging mechanism for students and alumni to address issues of waste in the fashion industry while developing entrepreneurial capability, Space Between is a fluid ecology of research lecturers, student employees, alumni, and collaborators striving towards a shared goal of positive change.
