BohoLani is an online boutique that specializes in fairly traded bohemian chic clothing and accessories.  Channeling an updated Stevie Nicks, the collection encompasses flounced, fluted, fringed and lace trimmed confections, sheer, glittered and spangled, the items featured are a modern day gypsy’s Arabian Nights dream. The lifestyle site, features a full range of women’s clothing from leggings to dresses, as well as bags, jewelry and even some home ware. Jewelry includes a wide range of ear spears and plugs, intricately carved, inlaid and embellished.

Specializing in purchasing from indigenous female artisans in remote areas around the globe, BohoLani seeks to empower women artisans by bridging the gap between artisan and market. Supporting craftsmanship and communities through fair pricing, the founders of BohoLani visit areas where market access is challenging. Building relationships with the artisans themselves, BohoLani ensure fair living and working conditions.  Produced in small quantities, items are produced in Bali, Indonesia and Los Angeles.

Called BohoLani after the bohemian lifestyle they embrace, and Lani, which translates to heaven in Hawaiian. The brand, and ecommerce site was founded by Isis Rose and her mother Tami Grace, both of whom spend extensive time with each of the artisans, building supportive and inspiring relationships. Incorporating textiles into their own designs, they support female artisans in an effort to continue the tradition of craft and creation in a community spirit.  BohoLani also donate a portion of their profits to women’s empowerment organizations.
